• Acetylsalicylic acid, or ASA, the active ingredient in ASPIRINŽ was launched on the German market under the trademark ASPIRINŽ in 1899.

• Today, ASPIRINŽ is a registered trademark of Bayer AG in Germany and in more than 80 other countries.

Pain Management

• ASPIRINŽ is indicated for over-the-counter treatment of acute pain. It is recommended for the relief of headache, pain and fever of colds and flu, muscle aches and pains, menstrual pains and toothaches.

• ASPIRINŽ, as an over-the-counter medication, is indicated for the temporary relief of minor aches and pains of arthritis. ASPIRINŽ relieves the burning pain of arthritis inflammation right at the site.

• Doctors may recommend ASPIRINŽ for other types of pain management. Talk to your doctor to determine if ASPIRINŽ is right for you.

Long Term Preventative Therapy

• Coated ASPIRINŽ Daily Low Dose is doctor recommended for daily therapy.

• Coated ASPIRINŽ Daily Low Dose contains a special formulation of ASA. Other ingredients such as acetaminophen or ibuprofen that are meant to relieve pain do not have the same action as Coated ASPIRINŽ Daily Low Dose.

• Doctors say it's okay to take more ASPIRINŽ for pain relief if using ASPIRINŽ for doctor supervised preventative therapy.*1
